I am going to post a quick "mobile" post. I know I have been slacking in the world of blogging... I just thought I would post this somewhere before I forget. Jill and I were having a discussion about how Al Gore bought "Carbon Credits" for someone because he had "used his up.". I am all for saving the enviroment, but paying someone money because you are producing too much pollution? That is ludicrous.
So Jill and I decided that we are going to sell "Carbon Credits" on eBay. That is, you can buy these credits from us if you feel you are producing too much pollution, and we promise to forgive you. Hey, Al Gore did it, so it must be the right thing to do.
I will post the eBay link soon. No joke.

you are a nerd :)
Unfortunately businesses do this all the time. Carbon credits were implemented to mitigate global warming. I find it dumb to set a limit on a company, but then allow them to go out and "purchase" credits.
Actually Gore is being responsible and in a way helping the environment by purchasing carbon credits. Read this article and do some research on carbon credits before you make an assumption: http://killfile.newsvine.com/_news/2007/02/27/589194-al-gores-electric-bill-carbon-credits-and-a-lesson-in-economics
There are people already doing this.... It is terrible that a person who is as ethical as you claim to be would let your wife talk you into that. Thats bad karma and even if you do it, it will bite you in the ass eventually. I am very dissapointed in a non-carbon way....
Anon. and Glen, it was a joke. Get off your high horse.
